The fourth, and second-to-last, round of the Copa do Nordeste group stage, which begins this Tuesday (14) with the match between Ceará and Jacuipense, at 9:30 p.m. at Presidente Vargas, could start to determine the first teams qualified for the competition’s quarterfinals. There are four groups with five teams each, with the two highest-ranked teams from each group advancing to the next stage.
This Wednesday (15), there will be six matches: Fluminense x CRB, at 7 p.m. at Lindolfo Monteiro; ASA x Confiança, at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal de Arapiraca; Sousa x Juazeirense, at 7:30 p.m. at Marizão; Ferroviário x Retrô, at 7:30 p.m. at Presidente Vargas; Vitória x Piauí, at 9:30 p.m. at Barradão; and Sport x Maranhão, at 9:30 p.m. at Ilha do Retiro.
On Thursday (16), América-RN and Fortaleza play at 7 p.m. at Almeidão (PB); and Imperatriz and ABC face off at the same time at Frei Epifânio. The match between Itabaiana and Botafogo-PB closes out the round on Wednesday, the 22nd, at Etelvino Mendonça.
