While the Detroit Lions have finished up their work in the 2026 NFL Draft, that doesn't mean its roster construction is complete.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Lions are hosting former Steelers wide receiver Scotty Miller on Tuesday for a free agency visit. Miller caught nine passes for 62 yards last season and just 131 yards over each of the last two seasons in Pittsburgh.
Prior to joining the Steelers, Miller played in both Tampa Bay and in Atlanta. Miller began his career with the Bucs as a sixth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The Bowling Green alum's most productive season came in 2020 with Tom Brady as the Bucs' starting quarterback.
Miller hauled in 33 passes for 501 yards and three scores during that 2020 campaign. In his seven-year NFL career, Miller has reeled in 99 catches for 1,216 yards and six scores in 93 career regular-season games. Miller has added an additional nine catches for 126 yards and a touchdown in the NFL posteason.
Per Schefter, Miller is also scheduled to try out with the Chicago Bears next week. The 5-foot-9, 174-pound receiver is entering his age 29 season.
