Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts and his wife, Brianna, welcomed their third child, Khari, in March, and the family just released new photos of the newest addition to the Betts family.
Mookie stepped away from the team back in March during Spring Training for the birth of Khari, leaving the Arizona complex and heading over to Los Angeles.
He ended up returning shortly after and continuing his regular work, ramping up a bit before returning to the Cactus League play.
Betts mentioned on a live stream with Adin Ross that he would not play for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic due to the impending birth of his third child.

âI canât now,â he said. âMy wife, weâre having the kid. The babyâs due right in the middle of the WBC. She said she would divorce me if I wasnât there for the kid.â
Betts also has two other children, a girl and a boy, Kynlee Ivory Betts and Kaj Lyn Betts. Knylee, his daughter, is seven years old, while Kaj is only two years old.
The shortstop has been open about how his kids inspire him on the field and add an extra level of motivation to his game.
âIt was a little bit easier to go to work and know that you have something to play for, someone thatâs really depending on you outside of you and your wife,â Betts said in the past about his children.
Over the offseason and Spring, Kike Hernandez, Max Muncy, Clayton Kershaw, and Kyle Tucker all welcomed new children into their families, making the clubhouse appear like a de facto daycare for the players.
âWeâve got a lot of little ones running around the clubhouse and everyone right now,â Tucker said about all of the new kids being around the team.
âItâs fun to see and share this experience with everyone, and have them come out to BP and the clubhouse and everything, itâs really cool to see all of that. Itâs a lot of fun.â
For the Dodgers, winning back-to-back titles seems to lead to growing families.
