The Los Angeles Dodgers have escaped the bowels of Coors Field, splitting their four-game series against the Colorado Rockies.
Dodgers starter Justin Wrobleski has turned the tide as a major-league starter and Monday night was no different. He tossed seven quality innings en route to the 12-3 victory against Colorado.
Wrobleski has fit into the Dodgers' starting rotation more than perfectly.
He has three starts underneath his belt and has posted an ERA below one (0.90). His second consecutive outing of seven innings or more ranks him first among Dodgers starters.
Efficiency has been the name of Wrobleski's tenure as a starter in 2026. The ability to induce soft hit balls and attack hitters has propelled Wrobleski as a mainline hurler.
In his last start against the New York Mets in which he tossed eight scoreless innings, he attributed the quick innings to just simply attacking hitters. And, Monday was more or less the same.
The Dodgers offense was explosive in Coors Field, scoring in all but two innings. that was expected, of course, but it was especially true for Max Muncy and Dalton Rushing.
With the absence of Freddie Freeman and Will Smith behind the dish, Rushing found himself manning first base. It's a position that he's quite familiar with for the Dodgers.
His production at the plate to start his season has come on like a tsunami and he registered his best game of the season in the Colorado beatdown.
