The Miami Dolphins have a ton of needs on both sides of the ball, and while they had a good first round, including taking Kadyn Proctor, the University of Alabama offensive tackle with pick 12, there are still loads of questions about what the future of this organization looks like.
Nonetheless, one of the biggest problems for the Dolphins over the past few years has been their inability to keep their quarterback upright, though Proctor is hopeful to do just that.
However, the Dolphins already have Patrick Paul at left tackle, so some are starting to question whether Proctor will actually play the position he played at Alabama.
âBiggest question: Where will he play? Proctor played left tackle for the Crimson Tide, but it's unlikely he takes Paul's job in Miami. Jackson has struggled to stay healthy over the past few seasons but is productive when he's on the field -- so right guard might be Proctor's clearest path to early playing time,â Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN wrote.
While it might be unlikely that he takes his job, it's also not the worst idea to bring in a youngster who has some flexibility to play multiple spots on the offensive line.
Even if Proctor were to struggle a bit early on, having him and Paul eventually form a good duo on the offensive line would do this Miami team a lot of help.
