The Miami Dolphins hosted quarterback prospects Jalon Daniels and Mark Gronowski ahead of the 2026 NFL draft. This comes after the team released Tua Tagovailoa and signed Malik Willis as their starting quarterback.
After six seasons, the Miami Dolphins released quarterback Tua Tagovailoa this offseason and replaced him with former Tennessee Titans third-round pick Malik Willis on a three-year deal.
While Miami seems to have their starter lined up for at least the near future, that shouldn't stop them from looking for another in the 2026 NFL draft, and it doesn't appear that it is.
On Monday, the Dolphins reportedly hosted two quarterback prospects - Jalon Daniels and Mark Gronowski.
Daniels, 23, was a three-star recruit out of Lawndale High School in Lawndale, California, before committing to the University of Kansas, where he earned All-Big 12 honors once.
In 49 games over six seasons with the Jayhawks, Daniels completed 61.5% of his passes for 9,282 yards, 67 touchdowns and 31 interceptions while rushing for an additional 1,445 yards and 23 scores.
Gronowski, 24, was an zero-star recruit out of Nequa Valley High School in Naperville, Illinois, before committing to South Dakota State, where he was All-MVFC four times and All-American once as well as a two-time FCS national champion. After the FCS success, he transferred to Iowa for his final season.
Between the two schools, he completed 63.5% of his passes for 12,071 yards, 103 touchdowns and 27 interceptions while rushing for 2,312 yards and 53 scores.
Both quarterbacks are expected to be Day-3 picks of priority undrafted free agents, which would allow Miami to address some of their more pressing needs throughout the draft.
