The Miami Dolphins had a very productive 2026 NFL Draft, making 13 selections to add to a very depleted roster following the releases of Tyreek Hill, Bradley Chubb, Tua Tagovailoa, and others.
In Round 1, they took Kadyn Proctor and Chris Johnson to bolster their offensive line and secondary, and then took plenty of help for both sides of the ball down the board.
After the 2026 NFL Draft, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler revealed that one NFC executive had some high praise for Jon-Eric Sullivan's first draft class with the Dolphins, as this executive believes the Dolphins "killed it."
"They killed it," one NFC executive said. "They got a mix of talent and culture guys, and all of the moves made sense."

With so many needs all across the roster, there was almost no bad position to take a chance on during the NFL Draft other than quarterback following the Malik Willis signing.
Miami came out of the draft with a ton of talent, and as this anonymous NFC executive said, they got good culture guys as well.
Proctor and Johnson in Round 1 were some great pickups, and then the additions of linebackers Jacob Rodriguez, Trey Moore, and Kyle Louis down the board were fun additions for Jeff Hafley.
Safety Michael Taaffe and edge rusher Max Llewellyn were nice pickups on Day 3 as well, as the Dolphins added a lot of defensive talent.
Offensively, WRs Chris Bell, Caleb Douglas, and Kevin Coleman Jr., along with tight ends Will Kacmerek and Seydou Traore, and guard DJ Campbell made for a strong haul.
This NFC executive really likes this draft class from the Dolphins, as they were able to add a ton of talent and high-character individuals throughout the draft.
It was a fantastic debut for Sullivan and Hafley for Miami in the draft, as they got a ton of help where they needed it, and are beginning to build their own culture in Miami.
