The Miami Dolphins are showing strong interest in offensive lineman Chase Bisontis for the 2026 NFL Draft. Bisontis, a four-star recruit from Texas A&M, has started 36 games and earned All-SEC honors during his college career.
Last year, the Miami Dolphins went into the season with Jonah Savaiinaea and James Daniels as their starting guards, but Daniels went down early in Week 1 and Cole Strange was the starter for most of the year.
With Daniels and Strange both hitting the market, Miami brought in Jamaree Salyer as a potential starter for 2026. However, the Dolphins shouldn't be content going into the season with Salyer and Savaiinaea as their starting linemen on either side of Aaron Brewer.
Heading into the 2026 NFL draft, Miami should be looking to find a starting guard, and one player at the position that they've showed interest in already is Texas A&M offensive lineman Chase Bisontis.
Bisontis, 21, was a four-star recruit out of Don Bosco Prep before spending the last three seasons with the Aggies, earning All-SEC honors once. During his time at Texas A&M, he started 36 games, playing right tackle and both guard spots.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pound lineman ran a 5.02-second 40-yard dash, benched 29 reps and recorded a 32-inch vertical jump and a 105-inch broad jump at this year's combine.
The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson recently reported that Bisontis met with Dolphins coaches and executives on Tuesday and Wednesday last week for a top-30 visit. Miami could use their second-round pick (No. 43 overall) on Bisontis, freeing them up to attack others important needs (offensive tackle, wide receiver, cornerback, edge rusher or safety) with their two first-round selections.
