Duke basketball has landed a commitment from Loyola Maryland's Jacob Theodosiou out of the transfer portal.
The 6-foot-4, 204-pound junior guard announced his commitment to the Blue Devils and coach Jon Scheyer on Saturday, May 2. He is the third transfer portal addition for Duke, alongside John Blackwell (Wisconsin) and Drew Scharnowski (Belmont).
A native of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, Theodosiou played the last two seasons with the Greyhounds. He began his college career at Wyoming. He averaged 13.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists on 46.1% shooting during the 2025-26 season.
Duke is set to return Caleb Foster, Patrick Ngongba II, Dame Sarr, and next season while also bringing in nation's top rated recruiting class in Cameron Williams, Deron Rippey Jr., Bryson Howard, Maxime Meyer and Joaquim Boumtje-Boumtje.
Jacob Theodosiou is a 6-foot-4 junior guard who averaged 13.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.7 assists during the 2025-26 season at Loyola Maryland.
Theodosiou's commitment adds depth to Duke's roster as they prepare for the next season, complementing their strong recruiting class and other transfer additions.
In addition to Jacob Theodosiou, Duke has also added transfers John Blackwell from Wisconsin and Drew Scharnowski from Belmont.
