FanDuel Racing confirmed Saturday it is experiencing technical issues affecting deposits, account balances and wagers on the biggest betting day of the horse racing calendar.
âWe're currently experiencing intermittent issues affecting deposits, account balances and wagers on TVG and FanDuel Racing,â the company said in a statement posted to its support account on X.com. âOur team is actively working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.â
The statement was posted at 3:12 p.m., less than four hours before the Kentucky Derby was set to go off.
The 152nd Run for the Roses at Churchill Downs is expected to generate approximately $349 million in wagers. It is among the largest single-day betting events in American sports.
Users had been reporting issues on the platform for hours before the official acknowledgment, with complaints including location verification failures, inability to place bets on Churchill Downs races and account balances appearing as zero, according to the outage tracking site StatusGator. The site logged 16 user-submitted reports in the last 24 hours.
