With 36 hours until the transfer portal window closes in college basketball, the Duke Blue Devils landed a four-star talent. Belmont PF Drew Scharnowski announced he committed to the program on Sunday. He averaged 10.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists this past season for the Bruins.
While Duke's approach has been more reserved and targeted, Scharnowski was part of that effort and a perfect replacement for Maliq Brown, who's currently out of eligibility. Duke doesn't seem to be done in the portal with Wisconsin guard John Blackwell scheduled for a visit next week. Two other names to watch in the coming days are Santa Clara's Allen Graves and Iowa State's Milan Momcilovic. The trio is receiving significant interest from Duke and each of them are expected to make a decision soon.
