Ederson sparkles against Milan for Atalanta as Manchester United prowl again

Manchester United’s interest in Atalanta midfielder Ederson has become a bit of a trending issue in Serie A in recent days.

As La Dea took on Milan in a huge game for the Rossoneri, it was the Brazilian who sparkled and well and truly showed his worth.

Ederson found the back of the net with a neat finish from the edge of the box in the first half, handing Atalanta crucial lead. At the time of writing, they have been 3-0 up and have been well worthy of the big lead. Ederson also operated between the lines, beating Milan’s press and being key in advancing the ball to the attacking areas.

But this is likely to catch a lot of attention in England too, with Manchester United keeping an eye on the Brazil international.

Most recently, he reported that Manchester United have held new talks for the midfielder, ahead of a summer move. They will also speak to Atalanta about potentially reaching an agreement over a transfer fee.

Atletico Madrid also have a firm desire to execute a summer move. The relationship between La Dea and the Spanish side is excellent for about a year now, but Manchester United are also in the hunt and this can lead to a bidding war for the Brazilian.
