The ACC has renewed its broadcasting deal with The CW and ESPN, ensuring football and basketball games will air on The CW through the 2030-31 season. The agreement includes 14 football games, 30 men's basketball games, and 10 women's basketball games annually.

The ACC is staying on The CW after the conference, ESPN and the network agreed to a new television arrangement that will keep football and basketball broadcasts on the channel through the 2030-31 season.
The updated agreement gives The CW a sizable package of ACC events every year. That includes 14 football games during the regular season, 30 menâs basketball games and 10 womenâs basketball matchups. Fans will still be able to watch games nationally on The CW, while broadcasts will also stream through the ESPN App as part of the ESPN Unlimited plan.
Since partnering with the ACC in 2023, The CW has made college sports a much bigger part of its programming lineup. ACC football, in particular, has produced some of the strongest ratings the network has seen. Florida Stateâs game against North Alabama during the 2023 season remains the highest-rated college football broadcast in network history.
The numbers continued trending upward last year. ACC football coverage on The CW posted a significant increase in overall viewers, while basketball audiences also climbed during the most recent season. Menâs basketball viewership rose modestly, and womenâs basketball saw an even larger jump.
ACC commissioner Jim Phillips said the extension helps continue the leagueâs push to reach more viewers across different platforms. He also credited ESPN for its continued support of the conference while praising The CWâs growing role in showcasing ACC programs.
The CW president Brad Schwartz called the ACC a major part of the networkâs sports growth, adding that the conference helped establish The CW as a destination for live events.
