Bashir brings the most collegiate success of all the newcomers joining LSU. The six-foot-seven guard spent his junior season at Kansas State and developed into an everyday starter until an injury sidelined him in January.
Through 18 games, Bashir averaged 13.2 points on 42.1% shooting from the field and 44.4% from three-point range. Over his career, including two seasons at Monmouth, he had 84 games under his belt nd scored in double figures in 50 of those games.
LSU marks Ugochukwu's third school, spending his freshman year at Miami and his sophomore year at Michigan State. Last year with the Spartans, he played in 21 games and averaged 4.8 points and 1.5 rebounds.
Ugochukwu stretches the floor for the Tigers. He shot 43% from distance in East Lansing and could handle point guard responsibilities as a distributor.
Dioubate became the first player to sign with Wade. He brings SEC experience after a year apiece with Alabama and Kentucky. Last season with the Wildcats, Dioubate averaged 8.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
The six-foot-seven forward brings healthy size inside. He possesses the athleticism to play on the perimeter as well, which could create catch-up issues for LSU's opponents.
