The 2026 NFL Draft kicked off on Thursday night, but 25 percent of the teams in the league, including the Atlanta Falcons, traded out for the first round. That means eight teams have yet to make a pick going into Day 2. The Falcons have to be happy with the way the draft has unfolded thus far.
Day 2 of the draft begins at 7 p.m. ET in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and contains Rounds 2-3. Atlanta has needs at the wide receiver, defensive tackle and linebacker positions, but don't be surprised to see the team take a cornerback or offensive lineman depending on how the board falls.

Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft (Rounds 4-7) begins at noon ET on Saturday and will feature picks 101-257. The Falcons have three more picks on Day 3: Nos. 122, 215 and 231, assuming they don't pull off any Day 2 trades.
