'Arsenal have flipped the pressure on to Man City in title race'
Arsenal's 3-0 win over Fulham puts pressure on Man City in the title race.
Falcons rookie Avieon Terrell has been named the No. 8 perfect player-team fit by NFL.com's Bucky Brooks. Terrell, a second-round pick, is expected to enhance the Falcons' secondary alongside his brother A.J. Terrell.
There has been no shortage of opinions on the Atlanta Falcons' 2026 NFL Draft class. While most analysts generally liked the team's Day 2 selections of cornerback Avieon Terrell and wide receiver Zachariah Branch, there was some skepticism over Atlanta's Day 3 picks.
Ultimately, time will tell how the Falcons' six-player class pans out, but these post-draft grades and breakdowns don't seem to be slowing down. NFL.com's Bucky Brooks had an interesting take on this year's class, analyzing "10 perfect player-team fits" from the 2026 draft.
Second-round pick Avieon Terrell, the younger brother of Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell, was ranked No. 8 on Brooks' list.
"One of the biggest feel-good stories of the draft could also help the Falcons claim an NFC South crown behind a stingy secondary led by a pair of high-IQ brothers with ball-hawking skills," wrote Brooks. "Older brother A.J. Terrell -- drafted 16th overall by Atlanta in 2020 -- will be on hand, setting the example as a premier cover corner on the island."
While it's easy to get behind the feel-good nature of this selection, Brooks went on to say that he thinks Terrell could help the Falcons secure a playoff spot in 2026.
"Avieon can follow A.J.'s lead to become an elite slot defender in the kind of see-ball, get-ball scheme that suits an instinctive turnover machine (Avieon posted three picks and eight forced fumbles in college)," added Brooks. "As the younger Terrell settles into his role as a sub-package defender, the Falcons' investment in the family business could pay off in a playoff appearance at season's end."
While that's certainly a bold prediction, it's not unreasonable for a team that's won at least seven games in five straight seasons. Atlanta went 8-9 in each of the last two seasons. Perhaps Terrell can help the Falcons finally break through after an eight-year postseason drought.
Avieon Terrell is a second-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and is significant for the Falcons as he joins his brother A.J. Terrell to strengthen the team's secondary.
Bucky Brooks ranked Avieon Terrell as the No. 8 perfect player-team fit, highlighting his potential to help the Falcons compete for the NFC South title alongside his brother.
Analysts generally liked the Falcons' Day 2 selections, including Avieon Terrell and Zachariah Branch, but expressed skepticism about some of the Day 3 picks.
