The Atlanta Falcons are projected to select Clemson WR Antonio Williams with the 48th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. This follows speculation about their need for wide receivers and nose tackles.

Two days remain until the 2026 NFL Draft begins in Pittsburgh. For the Atlanta Falcons, much of the speculation has centered around nose tackles and wide receivers with their second-round pick, slotted at No. 48 overall. Most other positions on the roster are far behind.
The receivers appear to be picking up momentum as the draft approaches, though. Yesterday ESPN's seven-round mock draft had the Falcons taking Georgia State's Ted Hurst at this spot. Now, a new mock draft from NFL.com has them taking a different wideout with this pick, Antonio Williams from Clemson.
Williams (5-foot-11, 187 pounds) would in theory fill the gaping hole that is directly beneath Drake London on Atlanta's depth chart at wide receiver.
At the scouting combine, Williams posted some solid athletic numbers - including a 4.41 forty-yard dash, a 39.5" vertical and a seven-second three-cone drill.
WIlliams' college production is the real selling point, though. In 43 career games at Clemson he racked up 208 catches, 2,336 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns - including an ACC-high 11 in the 2024 season. Here's a look at his highlight reel from that year.
Williams is one of several projected Day 2 receivers who should still be available when it's finally the Falcons' turn to pick. His draft stock has steadily risen from the 100s and he's now expected to come off the board in Round 3, around No. 76 overall. Atlanta is on the clock again just three picks later, so they might be able to wait until then to target Williams.
Antonio Williams is a wide receiver from Clemson, standing 5-foot-11 and weighing 187 pounds, with notable athletic stats including a 4.41 forty-yard dash.
The Falcons' second-round pick, slotted at No. 48 overall, is crucial as they aim to strengthen their roster, particularly at the wide receiver position.
Prior to selecting Antonio Williams, the Falcons were also linked to Georgia State's Ted Hurst as a potential choice for their second-round pick.
