FC Barcelona are looking for revenge against Osasuna, but also an excuse to party with Culers on the streets of the Catalan capital at the turn of the week.
Barca currently top La Liga by 11 points, and can secure a third title in four years by first doing their part in beating Osasuna.
Thereās more to the story, though, in that they also need crosstown rival Espanyol to do them a favour by beating arch nemesis Real Madrid at the RCDE Stadium on Sunday.
Espanyol managed that last term with a 1-0 win over Carlo Ancelottiās men. But they might be reluctant to help out Hansi Flick and Co though they harbour slim European qualification hopes with five games to spare.
If Barca and Espanyol both win, however, the former will indeed head to streets for a party parade with their fans. Just like it did in 2023 and 2025, an open bus will leave the Spotify Camp Nou and make its way through the city until terminating at the Arc de Triomf.
Recent history hasnāt been kind to Barca in that they lost 4-2 to Osasuna the last time they faced them in El Sadar back in September 2024.
It isnāt often that the home side manages to pull off such a victory, however, and youād have to go back to 2011/2012 to find another win against Blaugrana visitors.
In that 2024 loss, and were both substitutes and wonāt be available in unison again this time round.
The last match between FC Barcelona and Osasuna ended with a score of 4-2 in favor of Osasuna.
FC Barcelona is currently 11 points ahead in La Liga.
