FPL talking point - four players for the final stretch

With only two weeks remaining of the Premier League season, selecting players with low ownership could be the key to a late surge up your mini-league.

Here are four players, selected by Fantasy Premier League expert Wes Prickett, who might just give you the edge over your rival managers in the final stretch.

Goalkeeper – Pickford

Fixtures: Sunderland (h); Tottenham (a) Owned: 13%

Despite no clean sheets in his last five Gameweeks, I'm still backing Jordan Pickford to end the season strongly.

Sunderland have only scored once in their past three games (against Wolves) and Spurs have been poor at home all season.

I can see Pickford getting at least one clean sheet in the final two Gameweeks, with some save and bonus points along the way.

Defender – Mavropanos

Fixtures: Newcastle (a); Leeds (h) Owned: 2%

With West Ham fighting for their lives and Newcastle and Leeds likely to be on the beach, I like Konstantinos Mavropanos as a differential defender for the final two Gameweeks.

Newcastle have been poor by their standards this season and Leeds at home on the final day is another decent fixture too.

A very good chance of Defensive Contribution points as he's averaging 12.0 defensive contributions per game over the past seven Gameweeks.

He's been a real threat from set-pieces recently too, scoring twice v Wolves and coming close v Brentford having one ruled out.

Midfielder – Dewsbury-Hall

Fixtures: Sunderland (h); Tottenham (a) Owned: 7%

Another Everton player I like is Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

He's had a great season overall and is doing particularly well in recent Gameweeks with eight attacking returns in his last 12 games. He's also chipped in with defensive contributions twice in this time period, showing he has multiple routes to points.

He's under priced too, at just £5.2m, which is helpful if you're looking to free up funds for my next differential pick below…

Forward – Gyokeres

Fixtures: Burnley (h); Crystal Palace (a) Owned: 16%

Arsenal have the best fixture in Gameweek 37, a home game against already-relegated Burnley.

Goal difference could still play a massive part in the title race too, so I think Arsenal will keep their foot on the gas to try and score four or five.

Final day of the season is also a good fixture, facing a Palace side likely to rotate ahead of the Europa Conference League Final.

Viktor Gyokeres is on penalties and he's shown his haul potential with two goals and an assist vs Fulham in Gameweek 35.
