This was an idea suggest by the PTB here at SB Nation, and it is good for a Friday when there isn’t much I want to write about and when there is no Jays news. I’d imagine the phrase ‘pressurized failure mindset’ hasn’t been used in a post game interview before (though Babe Ruth had quite the way with a phrase). It is nice there are teams doing worse than the Jays. Someone on Twitter asked if Jays’ fans where taking joy in Bo Bichette struggles? Quick answer for me is no. I have been a fan of Bo’s for a long time, that doesn’t change because he is a Met. I hope the best for him, except for when he plays against the Jays. I didn’t want the Jays to sign him to a long term contract because I have fears that he won’t age well. But he’s only 28 now and he should still be in his prime. But Bo has always been a streak hitter. He’s, on occasion, started slow and still ended up with a good season. And sometimes he’s started hot and finished slow. He tends to end up around the same general area for stats. Will this year be the same? I hope so. Anyway, use the thread to talk about anything you wish (within site rules).
