Florida State basketball has secured a commitment from Amare Robinson, a guard from Tallahassee State College. Robinson, who averaged 3.4 points in his freshman season, is the brother of recent transfer Anthony Robinson II.

Robinson is the brother of recent transfer portal pickup Anthony Robinson II, both of whom are Tallahassee natives who spent their prep years at Florida State University School where they were coached by now-Florida A&M head coach Charlie Ward.
In his freshman season with the Eagles, he averaged 3.4 points on 12.2 minutes per game, earning four starts while shooting 38.2% from the field and 21.7% from the three.
He was a three-time defensive player of the year in high school.
Florida State has added four transfers so far this offseason in addition to signing six players from the high school ranks.
