Gerrard wowed as PSG reach final again, praising Enrique’s team ethic: “They could dominate Europe for years”

Steven Gerrard believes Paris Saint-Germain are capable of dominating European football for years to come.

PSG booked their place in theChampions League final after a 6-5 aggregate win against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night. A draw in Munich earned PSG a place in successive finals, where the holders will face Arsenal.

Luis Enrique's side are bidding to become only the second team to defend the trophy in theChampions League era.

Gerrard has been impressed by the development of the Parisians, who have got better and better since moving away from superstar signings.

The former Liverpool midfielder praised Enrique for building a team 'of real good principles and values', hailing how PSG work for oneanother.

He predicted that the French champions could remain the dominant force in Europe over the next few seasons.

Asked about the job Enrique has done at the Parc des Princes, Gerrard said to: "Incredible. A couple of years back he had a lot of star names in his team, a lot of prima donnas, I say that respectfully. Egos, players that don't really want to roll their sleeves up and run hard for the team. They only really want to play in possession.
