We could have a New York vs. New York battle on our hands between the Giants and Jets for the same prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft.
According to SNY's Connor Hughes, if Jordyn Tyson is sitting on the board at No. 10 overall, the Giants are going to take him.
Hughes believes the Jets are at least interested in Tyson, also, and if that's the case, they'll have to jump ahead of the Giants to the No. 9 pick to grab the Arizona State wide receiver.
"If Tyson's sitting there at 10, the Giants are going to draft him. If the Jets want him, they've got to jump in front of them," Hughes said.
Sitting in the No. 9 spot of the draft is the Kansas City Chiefs. Knowing that, here's what a Jets-Chiefs trade would look like.
According to the Jimmy Johnson NFL Draft Trade Value Chart, there's a 350-point difference between the Chiefs' and Jets' picks.
In order to close that gap, the Jets could swap their second-round pick for Kansas City's third-rounder, a difference of 360 points.
That would be a pretty expensive price to pay, but we could see the Jets paying it given their need at wide receiver.
The significance lies in the rivalry between the two New York teams, as both are interested in adding Tyson to their rosters, which could impact their future performance.
The Giants hold the No. 10 pick, while the Jets are positioned at No. 9, making it crucial for the Jets to trade up if they want to select Tyson.
Jordyn Tyson is a wide receiver from Arizona State, and his skills make him an attractive prospect for both teams looking to strengthen their offensive lineup.
