This is going to be a big one. There are a lot of opinions and a lot of realities at the offensive line position that are in conflict for the Green Bay Packers going into the 2026 season. Letās talk about it all today.
Even with Elgton Jenkins and Rasheed Walker out, it sure seems like the Packersā starting offensive line of Jordan Morgan, Aaron Banks, Sean Rhyan, Anthony Belton and Zach Tom (left to right) is locked in for at least the 2026 season (if not the 2027 season, too). The fact that Green Bay has already decided to put Banksā 2026 cash payment on a cap credit card only means heās more likely to make the 2027 roster than going into this offseason.
Honestly, the easiest starter the Packers can move off moving forward is center Sean Rhyan, who was given a three-year deal with a decent average per year, but the tradeoff was that heās really only guaranteed one season and the next two years function as team options. Personally, I think that the Packers are more in the market for depth offensive linemen than starting offensive linemen, but weāll have to see how it plays out on draft day. Generally, the team keeps 10 on its 53-man roster and 8 on the gameday 48-man roster.
While the Packers havenāt brought in an expected draft pick offensive lineman with their 24 confirmed pre-draft visits this offseason, the team has been confirmed to bring in Ohio State offensive lineman Ethan Onianwa and Illinoisā Josh Gesky for visits, likely as undrafted recruiting pitches. Onianwa was a big transfer portal prospect in 2025, but he didnāt end up winning the job with the Buckeyes. Despite being a backup, he still made the all-star circuit this offseason, a testament to how deep the top-end teams in college football are compared to the rest of the landscape.
