Bhuvneshwar Kumar set to make IPL history as first pacer to play 200 matches!
Greg McElroy believes Notre Dame's Jordan Faison is among the top wide receivers in college football. Faison's full commitment to football this year positions him for a potential breakout season.
There are more than a few questions surrounding Notre Dame football as it enters the 2026 season, and one of them is at wide receiver.
The talent is there, but right now we don’t know which one from the unit will step up this fall. Former Alabama quarterback and current college football analyst Greg McElroy thinks that it will be Jordan Faison who emerges as the top target for quarterback CJ Carr.
He recently named his top-10 receivers ahead of the season shared by Grant Reacts on social media, and the two-sport star was his pick. It makes plenty of sense that this could be the case, as Faison has fully dedicated himself to football this year, as he did not play for the potential championship winning lacrosse team.
It’s a move that Notre Dame fans are familiar with, as previous dual-sport stars like Cole Kmet took off once the focus turned to football. Faison could be in-line for a breakout season, as he had his best statistical season in 2025, and could break with 1,000-yard mark now that he’s fully committed to football.
If Faison catches around 70-receptions this coming season, he should be the top receiver on the team, and push his way into getting drafted in the NFL. Hopefully McElroy is right, and he has a massive senior year.
