Hannah Stuelke leads a list of former Iowa college players who were not selected in the 2026 WNBA Draft. The former Iowa Hawkeyes forward went undrafted, and no other Iowa college basketball players were selected among the draft's 45 picks.
Stuelke, who averaged 13.4 points and 9.0 rebounds per game for the Hawkeyes during her senior season, entered Monday night with a range of projections surrounding her draft status. While outlets such as Bleacher Report projected her as a second-round pick, other analysts expected she might go undrafted.
The Cedar Rapids native was also named Second Team All-Big Ten for the third time in her career and was an All-America Honorable Mention following the 2025-26 season. She finished her career with the 14th-most points (1,565) and the fifth-most (910) rebounds in school history.
Other notable college players like Oklahoma All-American center Raegan Beers and Indiana All-Big Ten First Team guard Shay Ciezki also went unselected.
Players who go undrafted can still make WNBA rosters by earning training camp invites or signing as undrafted free agents.
Monday night marked the first time since the 2022 WNBA Draft that no former Iowa college basketball player was selected.
