The Cleveland Browns are one of the more intriguing wide receiver rooms in the NFL this upcoming season. Not because there's a boat-load of talent in the room, but because there are three options who could emerge as the WR1 in this offense.
Jerry Jeudy has a chance as the top receiver from last year, while first-round WR KC Concepcion and second-rounder Denzel Boston also have strong cases for this top spot.
But, despite ESPN's Ben Solak believing in Concepcion a ton for the Browns WR1 job, he does reveal exactly how Boston can win the top WR spot in Cleveland, and it could be the result of a problem with the team's quarterbacks.
"As much as Concepcion has a good chance to become the WR1 in Cleveland, so does Boston, who was drafted 15 picks later," Solak writes. "He has a bigger body (6-foot-4, 209 pounds) with a larger catch radius, and that might be better suited to produce with the Browns' quarterback of questionable accuracy."
The Browns have a wide-open competition for the team's top wide receiver this upcoming season. All three of Jeudy, Concepcion, and Boston have a chance for the leading role.
Denzel Boston can become the Browns' WR1 by capitalizing on potential issues with the team's quarterbacks and outperforming Jerry Jeudy and KC Concepcion.
The main contenders for the Browns' WR1 position are Denzel Boston, Jerry Jeudy, and first-round pick KC Concepcion.
Challenges affecting the Browns' wide receiver performance could stem from the quarterbacks' effectiveness and their ability to connect with the receivers.

With Todd Monken taking over the offense and immediately drafting two WRs, it looks more likely that Concepcion or Boston will win the top spot.
While Concepcion is more of an underneath, and yards-after-the-catch receiver, Boston is a bigger-bodied option who can make contested catches and help out inaccurate quarterbacks.
With Deshaun Watson, Shedeur Sanders, and Dillon Gabriel all not being the most accurate QBs, having someone like Boston who can use his big frame to make tough catches on inaccurate passes is very nice.
Solak believes that Boston might turn into the WR1 for the Browns this upcoming season with his skillset and traits that might be a better fit for the team's shaky quarterback play.
This WR room battle will be a fascinating one to follow, as Boston, Concepcion, or even Jeudy could come out as the winner and the team's WR1. While Concepcion might be the favorite, don't count out Boston just yet.
