After a solid freshman season where he spent the majority of the year coming off the bench (though playing starter's minutes) Anderson assumed the role of Texas Tech No. 1 (and sometimes only) point guard as a sophomore.
Anderson wound up a third-team All-American, a first-team All-Big 12 selection, and the Big 12 Conference's most improved player. He averaged 18.5 points, 7.4 assists, and 3.6 rebounds, shooting 47.2% overall, 41.5% from 3-point range, and 80.5% on free throws. He set the Texas Tech single-season record with 244 assists and ranks second on the team's single-season made 3-pointers list with 108 this past season.
