With a qualifying speed of 123.937 mph, van Gisbergen took the pole position ahead of Michael McDowell for Sunday’s race at The Glen, a 100-lap test around the 2.454-mile asphalt road course located in New York’s Finger Lakes region. The race is broken down into 20 laps in Stage 1, followed by 30 laps in Stage 2, and a final stage of 50 laps.

Austin Cindric and Ross Chastain start the race on Row 2, with Connor Zilisch and Joey Logano on the third row. Ryan Blaney and Christopher Bell begin on Row 4, and Chase Briscoe and Ty Gibbs round out the top 10 starters.
Tyler Reddick, who qualified 15th, comes to Watkins Glen with a 109-point lead in the standings, winning five of the first 11 starts of the season. Denny Hamlin sits in second, with Chase Elliott, winner of two races this season, 117 points behind. Blaney is 155 points behind, and Chris Buescher trails by 181 points.
