Chelsea are once again searching for a new head coach after sacking Liam Rosenior earlier this month following a run of five consecutive league defeats without scoring.
Rosenior is the second head coach to depart Stamford Bridge this season following the departure of Enzo Maresca in January.
Calum McFarlane has been placed in interim charge for the rest of the season, and itâs believed Chelsea will take their time before appointing Roseniorâs successor.
Itâs been reported there are seven or eight names under consideration, with Andoni Iraola thought to be an early front runner.
Chelsea have reportedly reached out to the agent of Xabi Alonso, whilst Fabregas is another name fans would like to see takeover.
Fabregas has spoken on the speculation linking him with Chelsea, but Mikel has warned the Blues against hiring their former midfielder.

âGet a bit more experience, maybe come to the Premier League, and coach a lesser team than Chelsea. Listen, we are not an experimental club. Weâre not that club. Weâre not an experimental football club, no.
âWe already made a team, a club, an established club. Thatâs who we are. Weâve already established ourselves. Weâre winners. We win trophies, big trophies, the biggest team in London, winning trophies.
âNo, the football club, no. Get managers who are already made, who know and have experience of what it feels of winning titles, whether you won as a player or you won as a manager.â
