The Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings may have a trade in place for Jonathan Greenard.
That may not be true, though. It's a rumor circulating because of a podcast in which the deal was discussed like it has already been agreed to.
Regardless of the truth of the matter, the reality is this -- Friday is the most logical day for such a trade to happen.
That's because Friday is the second and third round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

And if Greenard is getting traded with any draft picks involved, you'd think there'd be at least one second-round pick in the deal.
At worst, there'd be a third-round pick in the trade.
The Eagles have one second-round pick and two third-round picks to potentially deal if Greenard was indeed going to move.
Greenard, who will turn 29 on May 25, is a former Pro Bowler who is quite capable of getting after opposing quarterbacks.
In 12 games in 2025, he had just 3.0 sacks.
