Inter transfers: 15m Man City deal approved as Solet talks begin

According to reports in Italy, Inter are ready to make Manuel Akanji’s move from Manchester City permanent for €15m, but have also begun preliminary talks with Udinese for Oumar Solet.

Inter are prepared to sign Swiss defender Akanji on a permanent deal from Manchester City for €15m, reports Fabrizio Romano.

Akanji joined the Nerazzurri on loan with an option to buy last summer, and Inter are now ready to make his move permanent.

According to Romano, the deal will be formalised in May.

Inter are preparing for a defensive overhaul in the 2026-27 campaign, given that three of their defenders, , and see their contracts expire in June.
