Iowa football has offered a scholarship to 2029 tight end prospect Caiden Snow after his visit over the weekend. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound player from Westfield, Indiana, already holds 10 Division I offers, including from top programs like Ohio State and Tennessee.
When Iowa identifies talent at the tight end position, they're usually spot-on with their evaluation.
That's why it bodes very well for the future of a high school tight end prospect who got an offer from the Hawkeyes over the weekend. On Saturday, 2029 tight end Caiden Snow took to X to share that he'd been offered a scholarship to Iowa following a weekend visit.
Snow is from Westfield, Ind., and Westfield High School. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound tight end is already an extremely sought-after commodity, with 10 Division I offers to his name. Marquee programs like Ohio State, Indiana, Tennessee, and Texas Tech have all offered Snow, with Iowa joining that list over the weekend.
Snow burst onto the scene as a freshman for Westfield last season. He had 43 receptions for 538 yards and four touchdowns in 13 games, becoming the second-leading receiver on a team that went 11-3. With three more years of development and growth opportunities in high school, it's easy to see why so many elite programs, like Iowa, are interested in acquiring his services.
If there's any position that the Hawkeyes have an elite track record of developing, it's tight end. Kirk Ferentz and company are hoping Snow can be the next great Iowa tight end in a very storied lineage.
