Unfortunately for the Lakers, they'll continue to be without star guard Luka Doncic for the critical contest.
Doncic has been officially ruled out of Game 2 against Oklahoma City due to the left hamstring strain that has kept him sidelined since early April.
Doncic has missed the entirety of the postseason so far, and at this point no clear return date has been provided by the star guard.
The extended stay on the sideline has been understandably frustrating for Doncic, who is itching to get back out on the court with his teammates.

"It's very frustrating. I don't think people understand how frustrating it is. All I want to do is play basketball, especially this time. It's the best time to play basketball," Doncic said in his first comments since sustaining the injury.
"It's very frustrating seeing what my team is doing. I'm very proud of them. It's been very tough to just to sit and watch them play."
If the Lakers can extend the series with the Thunder, perhaps Doncic will be able to return at some point during the series. Otherwise, his season might already be over.
