After being snubbed in the NFL Draft three years ago, former Colerain, Miami University and Cincinnati Bearcats linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. has re-signed with the Minnesota Vikings.
The 5-foot-10, 236-pound Pace Jr. has 236 tackles, 6.5 sacks, a pair of fumble recoveries and two interceptions in three seasons at Minnesota.
Pace Jr. signed his restricted free agent tender, where Minnesota had the right of first refusal. Pace Jr. is set to make $3.52 million for the upcoming season and has now played 45 games over three seasons for Minnesota after going undrafted in 2023.

Pace Jr. was a two-way player for then-coach Tom Bolden at Colerain. He went on to the Miami RedHawks, where Pro Football Focus named him Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Year and was All-Mac First Team in 2021. He transferred to the Cincinnati Bearcats and was a unanimous First Team All-American for the Bearcats as well as a finalist for the Dick Butkus and Chuck Bednarik awards.
Pace Jr. had a Senior Bowl invite, but had no takers in the 2023 NFL Draft. In his first season with the Vikings in 2023, he made the PFWA All-Rookie Team.
