Jack Millerās place in MotoGP looks more uncertain than ever, with his contract situation raising questions about his future beyond next season.
The Australianās deal with Pramac runs out at the end of 2026 after he signed a one-year extension in 2025. While heās played a key role in helping develop the V4 engine, his on-track results havenāt matched that impact.
Miller has struggled to find points early in 2026, and tyre management issues have only added to his difficulties. Meanwhile, rookie teammate Toprak Razgatlioglu has managed to pick up his first point of the season already, getting off the mark in Austin.
With contracts expiring across the paddock and teams already looking ahead to their lineups for 2027, time isnāt on Millerās side. Earlier reports suggested he was set to remain at Pramac, but the situation now appears far less certain.

Jack Millerās chances of staying in MotoGP in 2027 look bleak as team changes hit the grid
Yamaha is expected to overhaul their rider line-up next year. Reports on Saturday suggested that Ai Ogura will join Trackhouse in 2027, linking up with Jorge Martin.
Fabio Quartararo is set to leave Yamaha for Honda, and Oguraās arrival means Alex Rins will also be out. Pramac appear likely to keep Toprak Razgatlioglu for 2027, but Jack Millerās place remains under threat.
Izan Guevara and Senna Agius are both being linked to Pramac for next season, with several MotoGP teams keeping tabs on the rising Moto2 talents.
According to Speedweek, Miller now has as much chance of keeping his spot in the premier class as Rins does. Both riders are looking at a possible exit from MotoGP at the end of this season.
Jack Millerās 2027 options if he leaves Pramac
There are still a few good reasons to keep Miller around, particularly with the new 850cc bikes on the horizon. His experience and technical knowledge could help the team adjust.
If his form doesnāt turn around, though, Pramac already have a list of potential replacements lined up. If he does lose that spot, it could be the end of his time in MotoGP.
Even so, there are other paths for him to consider. Thereās talk that Miller has a strong chance of joining Ducatiās World Superbike team. He raced for Ducati in MotoGP back in 2021 and 2022.
The Aussie left a good impression during his time there, and a move to WSBK with them isnāt out of the question.
