Jaguars head coach Liam Coen provided injury updates on Travis Hunter and Cole Van Lanen during a media session. Hunter is expected to be a limited participant in offseason activities while recovering from a knee injury.
With the Jacksonville Jaguars reconvening for voluntary offseason programs, head coach Liam Coen met with the media on Monday and provided a few injury updates.
Coen didn't have any new updates on Travis Hunter. When Coen and James Gladstone met with the media two weeks ago, Gladstone provided a timeline for Hunter, who is working through a knee injury.
"He'll be, for all intents and purposes," Gladstone said at that time, "a limited participant throughout the offseason program with eyes on return to play at full tick in training camp."
Along with Hunter rehabbing, so is left tackle Cole Van Lanen, who suffered a knee injury in Week 18 against Tennessee. Van Lanen then did not play in the Jaguars' playoff game against Buffalo.
Jacksonville signed Van Lanen to a three-year extension late in the season.
"I don't have exact timelines on some of those guys," Coen said. "I think, obviously, Travis, Cole, like those guys aren't going to be probably doing too much throughout the offseason program, in terms of practice. They'll be doing a lot of rehab, getting on the side, being able to utilize some of the virtual meeting room downstairs to get some mental reps in there. That's a way that we can faciliate some of the reps that they're missing."
Travis Hunter is currently recovering from a knee injury and will be a limited participant throughout the offseason program.
Cole Van Lanen is also recovering from a knee injury sustained in Week 18 and did not play in the Jaguars' playoff game against Buffalo.

Also missing the end of the 2025 season was cornerback Jourdan Lewis. The Jaguars placed Lewis on injured reserve with a foot injury, following Jacksonville's Week 16 win over Denver.
Lewis held opponents to just 7.6 yards per catch while recording two interceptions and four pass breakups, according to PFF.
"Jourdan Lewis, similar ballpark," said Coen. "We're not expecting those guys to probably hit the grass this spring in competitive situations, but they're going to get a ton of reps. We expanded the downstairs with that virutal meeting room to make it a little bit more realistic. So those guys are going to be able to utilize that room a lot of times during practice to be able to go and get some mental reps. I think that's going to be huge for those guys this offseason."
