The Patriots traded away veteran Garrett Bradbury, allowing Wilson to return to his natural position of center.
Wilson and Maye were both committed to the University of North Carolina in 2020, but Wilson decommitted and went to Georgia instead.
Wilson earned the starting center position for the University of Georgia in 2024 and received Second-Team All-SEC honors.
