Jessica Korda has announced she is expecting her second child, two years after her first son. Nelly Korda expressed excitement about becoming an aunt again during the Mexico Riviera Maya Open.
Jessica Korda is about to add another joyful chapter to her life away from the course — and her growing family already has the full attention of one very proud big sister.
A six‑time LPGA winner, Korda announced Friday that she is expecting her second child, a little more than two years after welcoming her first son, Greyson John, in February 2024. The news quickly echoed through the golf world, blending seamlessly with a season defined as much by family milestones as fairway success.
After her round at the Mexico Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba, Nelly Korda — the reigning world No. 1 — was asked about her sister’s announcement. Her smile said plenty. Soon, she said, she’ll once again trade the role of dominant competitor for doting aunt, a balance the Korda family has learned to embrace with ease.
For Jessica, the pregnancy marks another moment of transition during a phase of life that has already reshaped her perspective on the game. For Nelly, it’s one more reminder that even at golf’s highest level, the moments that matter most often happen well beyond the ropes.

"So excited. It's been a hard secret to keep, but I'm so happy for them," Nelly said. "I mean, she's just such an amazing mom, and to see her step into that role two years ago with Greyson, I've never seen her so happy.
"I'm super excited for them. Selfishly, really excited for me because I can spoil another little baby. Yeah, just exciting times in the Korda and DelPrete fam."
Nelly, of course, recently added her third major title to the trophy case when she captured the Chevron Championship at Houston's Memorial Park. She kept rolling on Friday with a 67, and she's tied for the lead in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Korda sits at 9 under, tied with Brianna Do.
The exact due date for Jessica Korda's second child has not been disclosed.

Early in 2023, Jessica Korda took time off from the tour due to a lingering back injury, then announced her pregnancy later that year via social media. Her last victory came in 2021 at the Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions, where she edged Danielle Kang in a playoff.
The older sister of Nelly, she has only a handful of starts since 2023, but she did play at the Aramco Championship in April.
