After a rough 2025 season and an active free agency, there are a few clear needs for the Jets on both sides of the ball that should be addressed in the 2026 NFL Draft.

With picks at second, 16th, 33rd, and 44th overall, the Jets should be able to land plenty of instant-impact help. When it comes to aiding Garrett Wilson on offense, the early picks and those down the board should be a big help.

Ben Solak of ESPN believes this year is the time to help the offense, and specifically, the wide receiver room. He is urging the Jets to draft "several" wide receivers in the 2026 draft, as getting help alongside Wilson is a must for the Jets this year.

"The bottom line: Pick several receivers while letting the defensive board come to you," Solak writes for the Jets draft plan.

While edge looks to be a near-lock with the No. 2 overall pick, wide receiver is something the Jets could look to address at any of their picks throughout the rest of the draft.

On Day 3, the Jets own the 103rd, 140th, 179th, 228th, and 242nd picks. Solak's urging for the Jets likely would mean that Darren Mougey and Aaron Glenn target a WR on Days 1 and 2, and another WR or two on Day 3.

Looking at the 2026 draft class, Carnell Tate, , , , , and seem to be the most likely Round 1 options for the Jets.
