| WR | Player |
| 1 | Garrett Wilson |
| 2 | Adonai Mitchell |
| 3 | Omar Cooper Jr. |

Garrett Wilson will be the bona fide WR1 heading into the 2026 campaign with New York. Since getting drafted in 2022, Wilson has led the team in receiving yards each year. This upcoming season, that trend will likely continue as he is by far Gang Green's best receiving power. The team's 2026 draft selection of Omar Cooper shouldn't hinder Wilson's offensive outlook too much, and he should stay in the WR1 position for the duration of the season, barring a devastating injury.
Adonai Mitchell came to the Jets last season as an addition to the Sauce Gardner trade. Through eight games with New York, Mitchell accumulated 301 yards and two touchdowns. The young receiver is entering his age-24 season and will look to establish himself in a Jet offense that is wide open with potential to emerge as a lead-option, besides taking Wilson's WR1 spot.
The Jets drafted Cooper with their third first-round pick of the 2026 NFL Draft. Cooper stands at 6 feet tall and has a valid shot of emerging as a force. According to NFL.com, his current NFL comparison is Deebo Samuel. He ranked well at the combine, so the potential is certainly there. Whether the Jets' weak offense can utilize him properly is the bigger question.
Patrick entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2017. The former University of Utah talent has suited up for the Denver Broncos (2018ā2023), Detroit Lions (2024), and Jacksonville Jaguars (2025) during his six-year career. Last season for the Jaguars, he appeared in 16 games and caught 15 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns. Patrick is a versatile receiver who can play multiple roles in an offense, which should give Aaron Glenn some potential options for how the offense will function in 2026.
After coming into the league as an undrafted free agent, like Patrick, in 2024 with the Lions, he totaled just two catches with theĀ Detroit LionsĀ in 2024. With the Jets last season, Isaiah Williams saw a vast uptick in usage, tallying 26 catches for 193 yards. With Mitchell, Cooper, and Patrick in front of Williams, it may be harder for Williams to find a viable number of opportunities this season.
A fourth-round pick out of Georgia in April, Arian Smith battled drop issues with the Bulldogs but has the speed to be a potential game-changer when used properly in the NFL. Through 16 games last season, Smith accumulated seven catches for 52 yards. His name is at the bottom of the team's receiving depth chart, so catches may come far and few. Smith has to make the most out of his limited reps, and that just hasn't happened yet.
