South Carolina hosting Jordan Lee, Oliviyah Edwards on visits
Edwards was Tennessee's highest-ranked signee in seven years but was part of the massive offseason changes for coach Kim Caldwell. All eight of her returners entered the transfer portal.
Staley is no stranger to Lee, as Texas and South Carolina have played seven times in the last two seasons.
Lee averaged 8.7 points against South Carolina. She was a difference-maker in the SEC title game win, scoring 12 points with four rebounds, three assists and one block against South Carolina, shooting 5-of-9 from the field (55.6%) to go with two 3-pointers.
Lee was the No. 9 recruit in the 2024 class.
Dawn Staley transfer portal updates
As of April 14, South Carolina has no players from or in the portal. Staley saw three players drafted in the first 20 picks of the 2026 WNBA Draft on April 13 in Raven Johnson, Ta'Niya Latson and Madina Okot, and lost senior Maryam Dauda as well.
She'll bring in three freshmen in Kaeli Wynn and Kelsi Andrews, both forwards, and guard Jerzy Robinson.
Kymora Johnson, who spent three seasons at Virginia before entering the portal, visited South Carolina the first week the portal opened, per a source who did not wish to be identified.
Johnson averaged 19.5 points, 5.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game this season and hasn't averaged less than 15.2 points a season since getting to college.
The 5-foot-7 guard is from Charlottesville, Virginia, but went into the portal after UVA fired coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton.
