Jorge Masvidal undergoes hair transplant surgery

As is commonplace in today's society, Jorge Masvidal has joined the growing list of men going under the knife to return their hairline to its former state.

Hair recession is prevalent in the United States, with reports stating that two-thirds of American men will suffer from some degree of noticeable hair loss by age 35. That percentage steadily rises over time, but modern technology is helping those who are dealing with balding combat its effects.

Taking a trip to Turkey, Jorge Masvidal is the latest UFC ace to undergo surgery to correct his hairline.

"I've been seeing Now Hair Time throughout the years, and I've seen amazing, great results," Masvidal said. "Time hasn't been on my side. My hairline has receded back. Before it got any worse, I came to Now Hair Time to make sure I would stop all of that and get myself up to optimal aesthetics."

Despite having one eye on the octagon, Jorge Masvidal will be sidelined for several weeks following the surgery. The 41-year-old is in the latter stages of his career, having already retired once, but will have to wait up to six weeks before returning to heavy physical contact in the gym to ensure the hair transplant recovery period isn't altered.
