Arsenal confirm transfer in unusual manner
Arsenal confirms Jakub Kiwior's transfer to FC Porto in an unusual way.
The Vikings signed Jauan Jennings, enhancing their WR corps, but Justin Jefferson's fantasy value remains inflated despite potential risks. With uncertain quarterback play, Jefferson's elite upside may be capped, making Jennings a better bargain.
After signing former 49ers wideout Jauan Jennings to a one-year deal, the Vikings have their most impressive WR corps in more than 20 years. The market hasnât lowered Justin Jeffersonâs fantasy value, but it should.
While some might say Jennings will hurt Addisonâs value the most, Iâm not so sure. Jefferson is already as risky as ever, as managers witnessed his descent last year due to bottom-tier quarterback play. While Kyler Murray might stabilize this passing game, heâs not guaranteed to win his camp battle over J.J. McCarthy, and neither is a great bet to significantly elevate this offense.
Jeffersonâs past fantasy dominance resulted from a three-part formula: extraordinary talent, solid-to-great quarterbacking, and a streamlined aerial attack. The first part is still assured; the second part is a major question; and, with Jennings now on board, the third part creates a precarious situation for the elite upside of Jefferson, whose current average draft position (ADP) is WR5.
Compare that to Addisonâs WR41 ADP and Jenningsâ WR61, and itâs easier to see where bargain and bust potentials are more apparent. If Minnesotaâs quarterbacking doesnât return to 2024 levels (or better), then Jeffersonâs upside will be more capped as ever, with Addison or Jennings delivering better-than-expected results. The market simply is overweighting Jefferson. For now, that makes Jennings the best bargain in the group.
