Robert Lewandowski continues to mull over his future, aware that he must soon decide whether to accept the renewal offer from FC Barcelona or embark on a new adventure, whether in Serie A in Italy, Major League Soccer in the US, or Saudi Arabia.
Barcelona are believed to have presented him with a one-year renewal offer with reduced financial terms and a secondary role in the team, even though some reports refute these claims.
Now, according to Tuttosport (h/t SPORT), Serie A heavyweights Juventus have made their move to try and convince Lewandowski to join them in the summer.
The 37-year-old striker’s agent, Pini Zahavi, is expected to meet the Bianconeri officials in the coming days to hear their proposal.
According to the report, the offer would guarantee Lewandowski an annual salary of €6 million, plus bonuses, and a key role in the team as the main striker for Luciano Spalletti.

The Polish striker’s initial preference was to remain in Barcelona, but it is not easy for him to accept conditions that would see his fixed salary reduced by half and depend on performance-related bonuses.

From a sporting perspective, it would also mean accepting that he is no longer indispensable for Hansi Flick.
Lewandowski is also aware that Barcelona’s renewal offer is final and will not be improved, as the club intends to enter the transfer market this summer to strengthen the attack. If he leaves, the club would gain greater financial flexibility.
Beyond Barcelona and Serie A, Lewandowski has long received lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, although he has not seriously considered them so far.
He has also received an approach from Chicago Fire FC, who are willing to make him the franchise player of their project with a contract worth €20 million per year until 2028.
These alternatives are highly attractive financially, but they do not satisfy the sporting ambition of a player who still wants to compete in Europe’s top leagues.
Juventus believe they can meet Lewandowski’s sporting expectations, even if their financial offer is lower than those from other markets. Moreover, it would still improve upon Barcelona’s proposal, both economically and in terms of his role within the team.
The discussions in the coming weeks will define his future.
