The Knicks have won their last four playoff games by a record 135 points, the largest point differential in NBA Playoff history. Karl-Anthony Towns emphasizes the need for continued focus and discipline as they aim for more wins.

With another blowout victory on Monday night, the Knicks have won their last four playoff games by a combined 135 points -- the largest point differential in any four-game span in NBA Playoff history.
New York looked great on both ends of the floor in their Game 1 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, shooting 63 percent from the field and forcing 19 turnovers on defense. After the win, star Karl-Anthony Towns was asked how the team has come together during their impressive run and said while it feels good, they have to keep pushing forward and not become complacent.
"We're playing well, but it doesn't mean anything if we can't find a way to get three more wins," Towns said. "We just got to stick to the task at hand. You said it's the last four games? The key word is 'last.' Doesn't have anything to do with the next three, four, five, six. We got to stay locked in and be disciplined and execute at a high level."
The four-game win streak started after the Knicks dropped Game 3 in their first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks and went down 2-1. Since then, Towns and the rest of the offense has looked more cohesive as a unit.
"Better job as a team executing," Towns said. "Obviously, we changed a little bit things up and it's been very good for us."
One of those changes was having Towns lead with the ball more and "quarterback the offense." The big man had six assists in just 20 minutes (due to foul trouble) on Monday night, continuing to show his ability as a passer after having two triple-doubles in the Hawks series.
"I just love that I get to get my teammates involved and I get the chance to quarterback the offense and put them in positions that I feel they can succeed, and they've obliged," Towns said. "Like I said before, they're trusting me more with the ball right now and I just want to continue to repay their trust with the right plays and making the right decisions."
Overall, Towns finished with 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting, including 3-of-5 from three, six rebounds, and two blocks to go along with his six dimes. When asked if he believes the group is playing their best basketball amid the four-game win streak, he said the product they are putting on the court shows their growth over the course of the season.
The Knicks' four-game playoff win streak is significant as it marks the largest point differential in any four-game span in NBA Playoff history, totaling 135 points.
Karl-Anthony Towns has played a key role in the Knicks' recent success by helping the offense function cohesively and emphasizing the importance of staying focused and disciplined.
In their Game 1 win against the 76ers, the Knicks shot 63 percent from the field and forced 19 turnovers on defense.
Before their four-game win streak, the Knicks faced challenges after dropping Game 3 in their first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks, putting them down 2-1.

"I would hope so, that's the hope," Towns said. "You hope that at this time you're the best version of ourselves. For all the guys who've been covering us all year, I've always talked about that, getting better 1 percent every single day. At the end, we need to be proud and happy of the result we bring in the playoffs. I think right now we're seeing a culmination of the trials and tribulations we went through in the season to be at this point."
He added: "For us to be executing at this level speaks to the unity our team has right now. The sacrifice being made by all of us for the greater good of the team. You see it even in a game like Game 6 in Atlanta, it was just a total team effort. I think tonight as well was a total team effort, everyone came to execute our game plan and I thought we did a great job of executing."
