The Louisville Courier-Journal reports that the big man has signed with Kentucky. Injuries and the coronavirus pandemic have allowed Kepnang's time in college basketball to be extended.
He spent the last four seasons with the Washington Huskies and ascended to a consistent starter last year. Kepnang averaged a career-high 2.1 blocks in the 2025-2026 campaign.
Kepnang started his college career at Oregon in the 2020-2021 season, where he ended up spending two years.
If healthy, Kepnang figures to be the type of player that Kentucky head coach Mark Pope can build his interior defense around.
