Currently, the Atlanta Falcons' roster is mostly the same as at the end of last season. There are a few new incoming free agents and a couple notable exits, but the biggest changes have come off the field, where the Falcons have turned over their leadership structure - hiring a new head coach, GM and President of Football in former MVP QB Matt Ryan.
It sounds like Ryan is pretty intimately involved with the team's plans for the 2026 NFL draft and has actively chatted with some of the prospects they're interested in. Missouri wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. recently visited with the Falcons and enjoyed his time talking with Ryan.
"Going to the Falcons -- amazing visit," Coleman told NFL reporter Kay Adams. "I loved it there. Just seeing what the building is about. You can see they have culture in the building. It's a great group of guys. It's a new group. New everything. New GM. Matt Ryan is the president, so just getting to talk to him."
Coleman (5-foot-11, 179 pounds) should be on Atlanta's radar, as wide receiver has to be pretty high on their list of positions to address next week.
Coleman has taken an unusual route to the NFL, putting in one year at Louisville, and another at Mississippi State before transferring to Missouri for the 2025 season. All together he totaled 166 catches, 2,026 yards and nine touchdowns in 39 college games.
Coleman is projected to come off the board in the fifth round, where the Falcons do not currently have a pick. Unless they trade down for more, Atlanta will be on the clock in Round 4 at No. 122 and then won't be again until Round 6 at No. 215 overall.
