Like Elkhart, Penn remained unbeaten in the NIC with an 11-0 win over South Bend Adams.
Caitlyn Denny tossed a one-hitter and struck out seven for Penn, while Logran Rumble and Easten Maston each homered.
Despite three hits apiece from Madelyn Lambert and Riley Stevens, NorthWood dropped a 9-8 Northern Lakes Conference game to Warsaw.
Lambert had two doubles for the Panthers, while Payton Sears had a triple.
Jimtown's Lily Gaugler homered in the first inning, but Knox was too much for the Jimmies, as the Redskins cruised to a 10-1 Indiana Northern State Conference win.
In baseball action, Owen Biggs had two hits, including a grand slam homer in the sixth inning, as Jimtown beat Michigan City Marquette, 8-3.
Dalton Cook, Logan Smith and Carson Covey each added two hits for Jimtown. Freshman Brayden Presley struck out eight in five innings to get the win.
In Northern Lakes Conference play, Finley Miller tossed a complete game and struck out 11, as NorthWood beat Warsaw 3-1, to improve to 3-1 in the NLC.
Ryder Ransberger, Drew Rains and Sade Yoder each drove in a run for the Panthers.
Braxton Cline had three hits and drove in four runs, while teammate Spencer Elliott also had three hits, as Goshen cruised past Plymouth, 11-3.
Ryen Diaz got the win for the RedHawks.
Mishawaka took advantage of four Concord errors to score five unearned runs, as the Cavemen posted a 6-3 NLC victory.
Myles Jones had a triple and Derek Gomez doubled for Concord.
Despite a homer from senior Max Shreiner, Elkhart dropped a 10-3 Northern Indiana Conference game to South Bend St. Joseph.
Wawasee scored eight runs in the first inning and went on to beat Northridge, 8-4 in NLC action.
In boys golf, Penn edged Elkhart by three strokes to win a big Northern Indiana Conference match.
Penn totaled a 152, while Elkhart had 155 and New Prairie carded a 193.
Ben Divido was co-medalist with a 36.
Thomas Nusbaum and Colt Bollinger each had two hits for the Raiders.
In girls tennis, Goshen won a tough match from NorthWood in NLC play, beating the Panthers 4-1.
Wins by Zylea Matney at No. 3 singles and the No. 2 doubles team of Ruby Shoemaker and Hannah Rhrinheimer each went three sets, with the Goshen teams posting wins after dropping the first set.
Jimtown improved to 2-1 in the Indiana Northern State Conference, beating John Glenn, 3-2.
Clara Jackson and Nadia Urban each posted singles wins for Jimtown.
