Kyle Van Noy expressed interest in rejoining the Baltimore Ravens while also considering the San Francisco 49ers. He remains a free agent after last season's contract expired.

One of the most exciting plays of a lost Baltimore Ravens campaign was the result of two great individual efforts. The guys in purple led 17-0 on the road with just under eight minutes remaining. The Cincinnati Bengals drove deep into opposing territory in hopes that they could still get back into the game. That effort was halted by Kyle Van Noy and Alohi Gilman. They combined for an interception and a handoff as beautiful as any play seen all season.

Neither of them is on the team currently, as both played on expiring contracts last season. Gilman left to join the Kansas City Chiefs. Van Noy has yet to find his new home. Recently, the latter guested on Up & Adams. He mentioned two teams he'd like to play for. He wouldn't mind joining his good friend, Fred Warner, as part of the ten San Francisco 49ers, but he also isn't ruling out a Ravens reunion.

Van Noy's time in Baltimore wasn't just productive. It felt natural. He fit the system, contributed as a pass rusher, and brought the kind of veteran presence teams value, especially in a locker room blending experience with youth. That matters for a team like the Ravens. They're built to compete now. They're also developing pieces for the future. Having someone who understands both sides of that equation carries weight.
Of course, interest from a player is only part of the equation. The Ravens have decisions to make along the edge, especially after recent investments in younger talent. Balancing development with proven production isn't always simple, and roster spots don't come easily. Still, bringing back a familiar face isn't a foreign concept in Baltimore.
If the fit is right, they won't overthink it. Kyle Van Noy has made his stance clear. He's not done with Baltimore, at least not if he has a say in it. For a team that values continuity as much as talent, that kind of openness could matter more than it seems. Few would complain if Van Noy is back on this roster for another season. The Ravens could do a lot worse in terms of a third or fourth pass rusher in their rotation.
